Farmer Coste MM, Taylor SL. The CIHEC Environmental Scan of CIH Services in VA. Complementary and Integrative Health [Cyberseminar]. VA HSR&D. 2019 Jan 17.

Abstract:

The Complementary and Integrative Health Evaluation Center (CIHEC), a QUERI Partnered Evaluation Initiative with its partners -- the Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation, and its Integrative Health Coordinating Center, are conducting an online comprehensive survey of all VA medical centers and their community-based outpatient clinics, focusing on CIH. Presenters will discuss findings, specifically what CIH treatment options (e.g., yoga, meditation, acupuncture, etc.) medical centers provide and the details of those provisions. Intended Audience: Health services researchers, implementation scientists, clinicians, VA policymakers, administrators, and other interested health professionals interested in learning about the implementation of complementary and integrative health treatment options (a key component of Whole Health).
