Objective: To determine relationship between provi-sion of assistive technology (AT) devices, severity of disability, and discharge disposition for veterans post-stroke. Design: Retrospective, descriptive analyses; 11 categories of mobility and activities of daily living AT devices. Setting: VA databases. Participants: 12,044 veterans post stroke, FY01-02. Main Outcome Measures: AT utilization, demo-graphics, severity of disability, discharge disposi-tion. Results: The more severe the disability, the stronger the association between AT and discharge to community versus AT.
