Abstract:

NDS has issued a data alert relating to the SAS Medical Outpatient Encounter Datasets also sometimes referred to as the Medical SAS Outpatient Event dataset relating to RACE1-RACE7 variables. In addition VIReC has recently published a Data Quality Alert relating to improving missing race data in the Medical SAS outpatient and inpatient datasets.
