Abstract:

This Cyberseminar presents an overview of recently completed and ongoing research projects examining intimate partner violence (IPV) among women veterans as part of Drs. Dichter and Iverson's CDAs. The presenters share findings that inform the: a) scope of IPV among women veterans; b) health correlates; c) patient and provider preferences for IPV-related care in VHA; and d) future directions for IPV-related research. Intended audience: newly funded current CDA, CDA alumni, CDA mentors, the CDA community, and researchers and clinicians interested in recent research on IPV in women veterans.
