Description: The multi-site SERVE team evaluated new and existing data to identify a range of successful practices for incorporating Veteran Engagement in research. Four phases of development for research center-based engagement activities have been identified and include: Preparing, Convening, Working Together, and Evolving. These phases form the basis of a new HSR&D toolkit: Veteran Engagement in Research, which will be featured throughout the presentation. Intended audience: Researchers and their teams, VA center leadership, Veterans and stakeholders interested in Veteran Engagement in research.
