Description: As researchers, we often work with advisory boards, expert panels, patient advocacy groups, and others — obtaining their buy-in for our ideas, asking them to support our program of research at an organizational or clinic level, and requesting their feedback about our plans. Yet, we don’t always think about how these same stakeholders can help us with the communication and dissemination process that is so critical for moving research findings into real-world settings. In this Cyberseminar, VA funded and other research in which stakeholders were used in the communication and dissemination process will exemplify evidence-based communication theory recommendations for credible, trusted sources of information. Attendees will have the opportunity to think about ways in which they may be able to utilize stakeholders as communication partners in their own work. Intended audience: Health services researchers and implementation scientists.
