Seminar date: 10/15/2018
Description: Many effective programs emerging from research fail to have a significant impact on population health because no plans are made to disseminate these programs to agencies and organizations that can use them. In this Cyberseminar, we will discuss the science of dissemination, describe evidence-based dissemination strategies, cover important dissemination lessons learned by researchers in this area, discuss current dissemination practices and available tools, and provide examples of how to measure dissemination impact. We will also discuss the importance of a dissemination support system, and we will cover how web-based technologies can enhance some common dissemination strategies. Intended audience: health services researchers, implementation scientists, clinician-scientists
