Description: This Cyberseminar will examine preliminary findings of research into how receipt of a prediabetes diagnosis affects at-risk Veterans’ engagement in behaviors to prevent type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Additionally, this presentation will highlight ongoing intervention research that is exploring how behavioral science insights and Secure Messaging can be leveraged to increase engagement in behaviors to prevent T2DM among Veterans with prediabetes. Intended Audience: Clinicians, researchers, and operational leaders interested in prevention of T2DM and novel strategies to increase Veteran engagement in preventive behaviors and health promotion programs.
