Description: We will present findings from the BHIP Enhancement Project, a stepped wedge implementation trial conducted at nine US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers. The goal of the trial was two-fold: (1) to use blended facilitation to enhance the extent to which mental health teams’ clinical practices aligned with the Collaborative Chronic Care Model (CCM); and (2) to determine whether implementation of CCM-based care was associated with clinical improvement for patients treated in these clinics. We will also present on follow-up analyses that we are currently pursuing. Intended audience: implementation scientists with an interest in mental health, collaborative care, hybrid designs, and other novel implementation science methods.
