Description: Dr. Oneil and colleagues recently conducted a systematic search for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of PTSD interventions. Abstracted detailed data from 318 RCTs of PTSD interventions from this search serve as the basis for the PTSD Trials Standardized Data Repository (PTSD-Repository). Drs. Oneil, Hamblen, and Norman will describe the development of the PTSD-Repository, present key characteristics of the 318 included studies, and highlight gaps and inconsistencies in PTSD clinical trials. They will also discuss how the PTSD-Repository can be used by researchers, clinicians, patients, and policymakers to inform future study design, identify important gaps in PTSD intervention research, make evidence-informed clinical treatment decisions, publish original manuscripts, and educate the public about critical needs in PTSD care. Intended Audience: Clinicians and researchers interested in PTSD treatment and PTSD treatment research.
