Description: The demand for high-quality Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBI) has expanded rapidly. Yet there are numerous barriers to training mindfulness facilitators to meet this demand. The Presenters will report on the outcomes of the first national VA mindfulness facilitators training program demonstrating improvements in teaching competency, self-efficacy and self-compassion as well as reductions in stress and burnout. Target Audience: Presentation of findings from the VA CALM program is of interest to clinicians, researchers, health system specialists and decision makers.
