Description: There is a growing awareness of the problem of low value physical therapy care. Low-value care is broadly defined as interventions that provide patients with little-to-no benefit or cause harm. In a retrospective analysis of physical therapy care data from nearly 5000 patients who received care for low back pain in a military treatment facility we evaluated whether the use of specific intervention modalities could be interpreted as low value care.
