Outpatient Palliative Care Implementation to Improve Outcomes for Aging Veterans

Description: This career development award project aims to understand the current landscape of palliative care implementation and use across care settings in the VA, using a sequential exploratory mixed methods design. This work-in-progress presentation will invite discussion of early results from the quantitative analysis of national palliative care use and proposed interview domains for the qualitative work.

Intended audience: Health services researchers, clinicians, staff, and administrators, and anyone interested in palliative care implementation or the Career Development Program.
