Description: Chronic pain is a prevalent undertreated symptom afflicting one in five US citizens. Current effective conventional treatments are lacking and some patients seek alternative therapies. This presentation will focus on the use of acupuncture and acupressure for the treatment of chronic pain, exploring efficacy and mechanism.
