Vocational Rehabilitation for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury: A 10-year Multi-study Investigation

Description: This cyberseminar will focus on 10 years of VA health services research that has examined the role of vocational rehabilitation, especially Supported Employment, for Veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI). We will discuss (1) Employment outcomes for Veterans who completed a Comprehensive TBI Evaluation at clinics that did or did not have Vocational Rehabilitation as part of its Polytrauma/TBI team; (2) Polytrauma/TBI and Vocational Rehabilitation provider perceptions of the need for employment supports for Veterans with TBI, and (3) Increasing access to Supported Employment for Veterans with TBI.

Intended audience: Clinical and vocational rehabilitation providers for Veterans with TBI.
