Description: The VA Grant and Per Diem (GPD) case management program provides six months of case management for homeless-experienced Veterans undergoing housing transitions. This cyberseminar will present our team’s efforts to implement and evaluate Critical Time Intervention—an evidence-based, structured, and time-limited case management practice—at 36 GPD case management sites. We will showcase learnings from two Advancing Diversity in Implementation Leadership (ADIL) trainees who have augmented our implementation initiative to study workforce wellbeing among homeless program employees; and the interplay between implementation supports and Veteran stigma and discrimination experiences.
Objectives
1. Describe a national implementation initiative in a VA homeless program.
2. Characterize methods used to evaluate a pragmatic implementation initiative in homeless service settings.
3. Provide examples of implementation leadership training for junior investigators and staff engaged in QUERI projects
