Bonnie BootsMiller, PhD HSR&D has named Bonnie BootsMiller, PhD, as Program Manager for the HSR&D Centers of Innovation (COINS), which encompass 18 Centers across the country. Dr. BootsMiller began her career with VA research in 1996. She was part of the Quality Enhancement Research Initiative’s Diabetes Mellitus Center and was an founding investigator of the HSR&D COIN Innovation for Access and Delivery Research and Evaluation (CADRE), located in Iowa City, IA, as well as the Veterans Rural Health Resource Center, also in Iowa City. She has been the Chief Operating Officer for both centers since their founding and has served several terms as Acting Associate Director of CADRE.

Dr. BootsMiller earned her PhD in Ecological Community Psychology with an emphasis is Health Services Research from Michigan State University and completed a National Institute of Drug Abuse Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Michigan.
