Description: This cyberseminar is the third in a series of three focused on the processes, regulatory requirements, and resources for accessing VA data for research, preparatory to research, and operational/quality improvement purposes. This session addresses operations access to VA data. Our primary goal is to increase VA researcher awareness and understanding of how to access operations data, which is typically used for internal VA projects related to analyzing and improving the quality of services and care provided to Veterans.

Objectives:
* To outline types of data access and the data sources, tools, and provisioning for operations data access
* To explain the regulatory requirements specific to operations data requests
* To provide a brief overview of the VHA Data Portal and the various data request processes for operations data access
