Description: The EMPIRIC QUERI is a partnered evaluation initiative focused on understanding frontline clinician and staff experiences with VA's electronic health record modernization (EHRM). We aim to identify best practices that can improve future EHRM efforts. In this Cyberseminar, co-leads Drs. Rinne and Sayre will describe initial EMPIRIC findings from the mixed-methods evaluation at the Mann Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Dr. Matthews will reflect on evaluation findings, note important contextual factors impacting initial EHRM experiences, and discuss how evaluation findings relate to future EHRM efforts.
