Description: This presentation will provide an overview of complementary integrative health approaches for the treatment of PTSD. Following a brief review of the literature, Dr. Polusny will present data from a randomized clinical trial published in the August 4, 2015 issue of JAMA evaluating the efficacy of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for treating PTSD among Veterans. Additionally, Dr. Edward Livingston, MD, Deputy Editor, Clinical Content, JAMA will join as a discussant and be available during the Q&A portion of the session.
