Dr. Rinne is a VA Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician, a board certified Clinical Informaticist, and a Health Services Researcher with an Assistant Professor appointment at Boston University School of Medicine. His research focuses on uptake and use of new technologies to support care delivery, and he is particularly interested in how technology use influences clinician experience, interprofessional relationships, and job satisfaction. His CDA research is focused on the use of e-consults in pulmonary care, and much of his recent work is focused on the VA electronic health record modernization effort.
