Rebecca K. Sripada, PhD, is a Core Investigator at the VA Center for Clinical Management Research (an HSR&D Center of Innovation), an Assistant Professor in the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry, and a Clinical Psychologist at the Ann Arbor VA. She obtained her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Michigan and completed a postdoctoral fellowship as a VA Advanced Fellow at the VA Serious Mental Illness Treatment Resource and Evaluation Center (SMITREC). Her program of research focuses on access to care, quality of care, and predictors of treatment response for Veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The goal of her HSR&D-funded Career Development Award is to identify individual- and site-level factors associated with good and poor PTSD treatment response in VA residential PTSD programs, and then pilot a tailored approach for individuals at risk of poor response.
