HSR&D is pleased to announce funding for the Community Care Research Evaluation & Knowledge (CREEK) Center. The CREEK Center will serve as a policy and data expertise hub to share and disseminate Community Care information across research and operations. In doing so, the CREEK Center will support the research of VA Community Care investigators by sharing knowledge acquired through studying the implementation of VA's expanded Community Care programs (Choice, MISSION), and will provide Office of Community Care (OCC) leadership with key information and findings from VA research that will help foster high quality, high impact, and Veteran-centered research on Community Care. The CREEK Center will be led by a team of HSR&D investigators including Dr. Kristin Mattocks, Dr. Michelle Mengeling, Dr. Amy Rosen, Dr. Melissa Garrido, Dr. Megan Vanneman, and Dr. Denise Hynes, and will work closely with OCC, led by Dr. Kameron Matthews, Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Community Care.
