Policy Brief: Economic and Policy Effects on Demand for VA Care

The Partnered Evidence-based Policy Resource Center (PEPRec) has recently released a policy brief designed to inform policymakers and VHA managers about evidence on how the broader health system and economy affect demand for VHA care.

PEPRec is a QUERI-funded resource center that collaborates with operational partners to design and execute randomized evaluations of VHA initiatives, develop and refine performance metrics, and write evidence-based policy briefs.
