AcademyHealth’s open access, peer-reviewed journal eGEMs is now seeking submissions for a new special issue featuring research that leverages diverse electronic health data resources and the capabilities of learning health care systems to improve population health.
Sponsored by the Health Care Systems Research Network (HCSRN), formerly known as the HMO Research Network, the special issue will feature work from network members, but is also seeking submissions from researchers outside of HCSRN. The journal is particularly interested in submissions that demonstrate the value of a rich data infrastructure, highlight work that involves large and diverse populations across delivery systems, and showcase applications of collaborative or partnered research in real-world settings that improve health outcomes and health system performance.
Papers accepted as a part of this special issue will be promoted broadly in celebration of HCSRN’s 25th anniversary via both AcademyHealth and HCSRN networks, which include a combined total of 20,000 followers on social media, a half million website visitors annually, and mailing lists of more than 20,000.
